A Homemaker does not have to perform any hands-on personal care services. Instead, she receives training in topics related to human development and interpersonal relationships, nutrition, shopping, food storage, use of equipment and supplies, planning and organizing household tasks, and principles of cleanliness and safety. Her primary duties include maintaining the home in an optimal state of cleanliness and safety, within the family’s resources, and reporting any work-related or family-related problems to the appropriate supervisor.
40 hours of training.
